Camping

The weather was forecasted to be beautiful for this past weekend, so we decided to attempt our first camping trip with the baby. I worked Friday so Mike set up our camp. When I got off work, I picked up Sebastian and met Mike and Chris at Mississinewa. The weatherman was right this time, and the weather was WONDERFUL!

Saturday, Mike cooked breakfast for us. Sebastian was making sure that anything Mike dropped didn't get left on the ground to attract raccoons...

We put a table cloth on the ground, and then covered it with a blanket. The idea was to try to keep the morning dew from soaking through the blanket, and to keep Chris dry. It worked great for keeping the blanket dry. Chris didn't stay dry...of course, he didn't stay on the blanket either! Here, he is crawling off the edge on his way to see Daddy.

Here, Chris (he was one D-I-R-T-Y baby by Saturday night) plays with his toys while we ready the fire for cooking.

If the basket is good enough for the toys, its good enough for me!

Here's a video of Chris laughing at me. I said, "YUCKY!" and took his sock away when he tried to chew on it. He thought it was funny, so we did it over and over again!

We did a little bit of fishing on Saturday. We caught 3 fish total. Two bluegill and one sunfish. They were all about 4 inches long...needless to say, we threw them back to let them grow a bit. They can be dinner next year!
